Pintura em acrílico sobre tela - A acumulação de humidade a longo prazo (em reserva), provocou o surgimento de manchas de bolores e matéria estranha à obra (impurezas dissolvida na água). Quando a obra foi entregue para tratamento, já se encontrava com uma secção da tela bastante fragilizada e manchada pela acção da humidade. As fibras têxteis encontravam-se sem resistência, e com pequenos rasgões, com consequências nefastas para a estabilidade física e química da obra. Uma pequena extremidade da composição apresentava-se ligeiramente escurecida por acção dos bolores.Tratamento efectuado - Desmontagem do chassis em alumínio; limpeza do verso da tela; desinfestação das zonas atacadas pela humidade/bolores; integração de suporte têxtil para restabelecimento físico do canto mais afectado; intervenção de carácter estético de forma a dissimular as manchas de bolores.
Acrylic on canvas - The accumulation in the long term , prompted the development of mold stains and foreign materials to the work (impurities dissolved in water). When the work was handed over for treatment, already had a section of the screen very fragile and tainted by the action of moisture. The fibers were no resistance, and small cracks, with harmful consequences for physical and chemical stability of the work. A small end of the composition had slightly darkened by the action of molds.
Treatment - Dismantling the aluminum chassis, cleaning the back of the screen; disinfection of areas attacked by humidity / mold; integration of textile backing for physical recovery of the corner most affected; aesthetic intervention in order to disguise the stains of mold.
